For over 43 years The Baton Show Lounge has been a favorite destination for everyone and is especially popular with brides celebrating their last night out prior to their upcoming wedding. Since opening in 1969, the cast of the Baton has entertained people from all walks of life and was called a melting-pot of people by the former Mayor of Chicago, Harold Washington.

Mr Jim Flint .. a man with a vision and desire ..

Finally, the book has been written and is available on Amazon.Com .. As a youngster growing up in Peoria, Illinois Mr Flint began working at an earlier age to help support his family as his mother worked two jobs to make ends meet .. with a strong work mentality as he grew so did his dreams. The newly released book "Jim Flint: The Boy From Peoria" tells his story in great detail and his accomplishments through the years. The book was released in December 2011. This March "The Baton" will celebrate its forty-third anniversary as one of Chicago's best places to relax & have fun ... come visit us and see "The Tops of Nation Review" as The Baton is famous across the globe for presenting the very best in the art of female impersonation. If you are celebrating a friends night out, your anniversary, bachorlette party, birthday or just looking for fun in Chicago's River North's District ... come visit us and enjoy one of the most entertaining night clubs in Chicago. The bachorlette season is in high gear with the arrival of spring and summer ... so make your reservations early to secure your space at the club to celebrate the special occasion.

The Baton is open Wednesday through Sunday, with shows at 8:30pm, 10:30pm and 12:30am. Reservations are never required but are highly recommended for the weekend shows as these shows do tend to reach capacity.
